This week is our double shot week - we received so many good CD's while we were away that I couldn't feature just one. This week we played Cale Hawkins, a young artist who played all the instruments on his "Chrome" CD, Carolyn Wonderland, Billy Jones, Wild t & the Spirit, Luther Allison, 3 cuts from Paul Reddick's new release on Northern Blues, Sugarbird and Lisa Kay Deeter.

Also included this week - Layla Zoe, who "was featured on the pilot of the TV series Canadian Idol where she impressed judge Sass Jordan, though she was ultimately deemed to bluesy for the show." Mem Shannon, from the new Northern Blues Sampler # 3, "The Future of the Blues", Wardell Williams, Billy Jones, Theresa James and the Rhythm Tramps, Papa Don McMinn, a repeat by Robert Farrell and The Pat Savage Band. We close out the show with an instrumental, Catching Some Z's by Gary Cain.
